The verdict in the Sanderink case is still awaited. During a chaotic session in the Corporate Chamber, the controversial businessman left in a rage when his challenge request was denied. According to FD journalist Joris Polman, it was unthinkable that Sanderink would eventually return to work at construction company Strukton.
Polman was present today at the well attended session and saw the ‘isolated’ Sanderink. ‘He showed up with Van Rijbroek and started attacking viciously, with the Centric case in mind’, Polman referred to an earlier case in the Chamber of Companies. Sanderink stepped away from the IT company Centric, which he founded himself.

Leave the room
‘It’s the same judge today, so Sanderink feels like he can’t believe this. He made another attempt to challenge the judge. But inevitably the challenge room said, we’re not going to do that. Then Sanderink was fed up and decided to leave the room with a snide and scathing comment,’ said Polman. ‘Extraordinary! Clap!’ According to FD journalists, Sanderink would scream, followed by: ‘great success stealing the company!’
The Sanderink Theater was influential: the decision was postponed for a while. Polman found it surprising. ‘In the case of Centric, there is a decision in an hour, not now. I think the judge wanted to avoid discussing caution. That will drop to a few days. I don’t expect Sanderink to be back in the saddle.’
Russian oligarchs and the mafia
What did not surprise Polman was the multimillionaire’s behavior. He noticed that Sanderink was starting to act more and more strangely. “At the end of last year he already seemed disoriented and today it was actually much worse. You hear all kinds of conspiracy theories. He feels that everything and everyone is conspiring against him.’
The weirdest theories are reviewed here. He claims that a game is being played in which Russian oligarchs and the mafia have finally taken over his company and that the rule of law is deeply corrupt. And of course the media took a lot of hits,’ explained Polman.
