The ‘Azerion Fanzone’ is used by a growing number of Dutch football clubs
Late last year, gaming and digital advertising company Azerion (a major sponsor of Women’s Eredivisie) launched ‘Azerion Fanzone’: a digital platform where sports club fans can find everything they need. For example, Azerion Fanzone offers an overview of the news about your favorite club, integrated ticket sales, and the app has a live match center. The Azerion Fanzone has now generated interest from less than twenty clubs, ten of which are Dutch.
The digital ‘ecosystem’ created by Azerion Fanzone allows clubs to connect with their fans in a more personal and interactive way. The platform actually acts as a central point for all online interactions. Additionally, the Azerion Fanzone offers exciting advertising and sponsorship opportunities. Azerion’s broad user platform and advanced advertising technologies allow advertisers to deliver targeted and impactful campaigns at scale.
‘New door opened’
Jurriaan van Teunenbroek, Vice President of Games & Content at Azerion, commented: “We are thrilled to see how Azerion Fanzone has transformed the way sports clubs interact with their fans. This innovative platform has opened new doors for fan engagement. Moreover, through the seamless integration of advertising technology, Azerion Fanzone has great potential for brands to reach their target audience effectively.”
Since launching in December, the Azerion Fanzone has gained a lot of traction in the Netherlands, with ten clubs from the Eredivisie Division and Kitchen Champion using the platform. Thanks to this success, Azerion Fanzone has already convinced Belgian and Turkish clubs and plans to visit Portugal, Germany and the UK in the near future.
