Member of British Esports Team Committee (UKETC) has announced first aid inclusion psychologicalto help players with mental problems.
Fnatic, Resolve Esports, MNM Gaming, EXCEL Esports, Vexed Gaming, Endpoint, Method, and Manchester City Esports has agreed to train in psychological first aid and work with non-profit organizations play aids. The psychological assistant will help players deal with mental health issues and improve their well-being.
In a statement, the team said it wanted to set an example of caring for improving mental and physical health, and they hoped more esports organizations around the world would do the same.
The term “psychological first aid” is a technique recognized by the World Health Organization. It focuses on detecting and providing assistance at the first symptoms of mental health problems, such as depression, anxiety, stress, and others.
