“Senseless comparisons! If a baby or a mother dies, it is a disgrace in any country. We spend our lives seeing the straw in other people’s eyes,” several Cubans responded this Tuesday to the Provincial Health Directorate in an attempt to justify the deaths of eight newborns at the Diez de Octubre Gynecology and Obstetrics Hospital in Havanabetter known as the Princess of Galicia.
“If these babies die in Cuba, the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) should look into the causes to find a solution and stop making stupid comparisons. This is a note from the Directorate of Health of the Province of Havana! Shameful!” Cuban opinion.
The Provincial Health Directorate of Havana shared notes from pages related to the Guardianes de la Salud regime. Supporters place similar cases in the UK and US,
“I do not agree that Cuba is seen as if we are from another galaxy, Cuba is a part of this world where events like this happen, all the bad things that happen in our homeland are magnified by a group of heartless people taking it for granted. endanger.” Said the Health Keeper.
However, this justification was not well received by Cuba.
“The argument cannot be based on the fact that these fatal cases have also occurred in other countries. Please if we compare, we must be very careful. This fact is very sensitive. It is no less true that health here is all the more detrimental because , without generalizing, I have heard many cases that prenatal and delivery mothers treated them VERY BAD. It is unforgivable,” said one Cuban.
“It bothers me that we continue to see the lack of humanity and the lack of love in those moments, which should be the most beautiful thing in the world. No one will return the babies to their mothers and families. Therefore, I think they should have a more discreet color,” he said.
“This is a shame for our people. The news that hurts us and the loss of eight little angels fills you with world numbers and statistics. Instead of showing empathy and pain, they show us their cold analysis, which is what we always do for you .: not humans but numbers”, said one netizen.
“My condolences to all those families, I’m so sorry. And to Public Health, please, don’t make more absurd comparisons or look back, don’t look outside your country that this is getting more and more depressing every day. Find solutions, give priority to those in need and stop justifying yourself with the nonsense you believe in,” said one Cuban.
Not to mention that Cuba is incomparable to any other country. Lack of tact, lack of humility, lack of dedication to the profession and their patients, that’s normal in medical institutions. Very few feel it anymore. and not with anyone else. Don’t justify yourself more than anything else. What you say will comfort a family who waited nine months to see their baby, who had a bad night, or who is simply enjoying their children. Realize what you are saying for God.”
