Reconstruction: Primary Education and Health Center inaugurated in Lambayeque | News

With an investment of over 129 million sol, two symbolic reconstruction works were inaugurated in the provinces of Chiclayo and Lambayeque, benefiting more than 138,000 residents.

This is about Posope Alto Medical Center, in Patapa District, Lambayeque Province in Chiclayo; and Center for Alternative Basic Education (CEBA) San JuanLocated in Íllimo district, Lambayeque Province. Both interventions were carried out by the Reconstruction with Change Authority (ARCC), in the context of Government to Government Agreement (G2G) with England.

In Íllimo, the President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, accompanied by the executive director of the ARCC, Robert Lopez Lopez, presided over the inauguration ceremony of CEBA San Juan, which will benefit more than 1,000 students SMA in the morning, afternoon and evening shifts.

“It is our commitment to the population to close the gap in the education sector. The infrastructure we provide today is a high-quality place where our students don’t need to be jealous of private schools,” said the Head of State.

Meanwhile, Lopez Lopez stated that the educational institution has high quality standards and advanced equipment 41.3 million soles have been invested.

CEBA, which works in three shifts, has 15 classrooms, toilets for three levels of education and teaching and administrative staff, two dining rooms, a warehouse, two playgrounds, a pantry, among others.

“This is the fifth school implemented in that context government agreement with the government in the region, with an investment of S/183.6 million for the benefit of more than 5,600 students from Chiclayo and Lambayeque provinces,” said official ARCC.

As part of their agenda, the authorities handed over the Pósope Alto Health Center to the residents of Pátapo, which was also done through G2G.

This establishment has a investment S/ 88.8 million and will provide medical care to more than 137,000 people in Patapa district and environs in the province of Chiclayo.

The establishment has three floors and a building area of ​​4,186 square meters which allows residents to access outpatient services, emergency and emergency care 24 hours a day, pregnant women care, inpatient areas, clinical pathology, radiology, ultrasound, pharmacy, among others. This is the only G2G health project in the region.

The ARCC has, since 2017, allocated over S/3,000 million for reconstruction work, of which around S/2,600 million was implemented, equivalent to 85% of the total transferred.

In the region, 614 works were completed, 367 of which were sanitation, pathways and sidewalks; 91 agriculture, 98 education and 58 transportation.

Through G2G, ARCC invested S/ 1.373 million in the Lambayeque region for implementation of 5 schools and health facilities, as well as comprehensive solutions for 5 rivers: Chancay, La Leche, Motupe, Olmos, Zaña, and Chiclayo rainwater drainage.
