Value of exports of Dutch-made goods to the UK in the first quarter 5.7 billion euro. It re-export good at that time 3.2 billion euro. In 2020, the Dutch economy generated approx 56 cents per euro export Dutch-made goods to England, at 14 cents per euro re-exported.

Importance of Dutch-made exports to the UK is increasing
In the first quarter of 2021, total exports of goods produced in the Netherlands grew by 8 percent; much lower than export growth to the UK (24 percent). This is partly because the portion of oil and gas in the export package is much larger than the previous year. Oil and gas prices rose sharply in the first quarter.
Partly as a result of these developments, the importance of exports of Dutch-made goods to the UK increased from 6.5 percent in the first quarter (1e quarter 2020) to 7.5 percent. While this is 1 percentage point higher than in 2020, compared to the first quarter of 2016, the share of Dutch manufacturing exports to the UK is more than 1 percentage point smaller.

Significantly more oil and gas exports
Dutch exporters of products to the UK sold in the first quarter of 2021 with growth 235 million euro especially over oil and gas. Exports of flowers and plants grew by 179 million euro. In addition, exports of medical devices and other health aid goods experienced momentum in the first three months of this year. In contrast, exports of passenger cars manufactured in the Netherlands to the UK in particular lag far behind the first quarter of 2020.
