FIA prepares scholarships for talented young engineers



FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem announced on Thursday that the international motorsport federation wants to help talented young engineers with their training. The FIA ​​wants to provide opportunities for talents to pursue a master’s program in Advanced Motorsport Engineering through grants.

Auto associations have often come under fire for turning their backs on social issues and racing in countries where human rights are in question. Nevertheless, the FIA ​​wants to help minorities who don’t have big wallets with jobs in engineering with the initiative. In this way, the guild wanted to remove the financial burden of students who had the talent to grow into engineers in the royal class.

Sport is open to everyone

Not everyone can just claim a scholarship. For example, there will be a selection procedure and applications can be submitted from 15 October to 15 February. For those who go through the entire process and are selected, seats will be available at Cranfield University in the UK.

Ben Sulayem on the initiative: “I believe that sport should be open to everyone who wants to study and participate. Thanks to this scholarship, a young man with financial difficulties will have the opportunity to study motorsport engineering at a world-leading university in this field and bring that knowledge back to the world. country and its community.”
