King Charles angry a second time: ‘I hate this thing’

King Charles was yesterday at Hillsborough Castle, not far from Northern Ireland’s capital, Belfast. He was there with his wife Camilla when he wanted to write something in the guest book.

Pen leak

It didn’t go well. First he wrote the wrong date – September 12 instead of September 13 – and when he tried to correct it, the pen in his hand started to leak. “Oh my God, I hate this,” he said. The king rose, handed the pen to his wife Camilla, who was now empress. “Oh well, it happens everywhere,” he said.

“I can’t stand this damn thing all the time,” said 73-year-old Charles.

The king is in Northern Ireland to visit the rest of Great Britain for the funeral of his mother, Queen Elizabeth, who died last week at the age of 96.

Looks annoyed

This was the second time in as many days Charles had looked annoyed. Last weekend, when some sort of accession council proclaimed him king, things went wrong too.

Charles had to sign the paperwork but there was a pencil tray with pens on the way. He instructed one of his staff members to remove it from him, as can be seen in this image:

People express their support on social media. Raja has to deal with the loss of his mother and has a hectic schedule. Former political reporter Marcus Dysch said Security The following: “Despite aside, King Charles must be exhausted. He is over 70 years old, flies non-stop across the country and it is clear that he will not be disturbed. May he have time to process this traumatic period.”

But there has also been criticism of the new king being cranky and people comparing his behavior to Queen Elizabeth. Washington Post cites an example that illustrates his ‘great sense of humor’: many years ago an American tourist who met him near Balmoral Castle in Scotland and did not recognize the queen asked him if he had ever met the queen. “No, but he did,” he replied, pointing to his security guard.

The security guard was asked by tourists what kind of queen she was. “He can be very grumpy at times but has a great sense of humor,” he said. The tourist then wanted a photo of the security guard and gave his camera to the queen.
