Google makes Individual Workspaces available in Europe

Google is releasing Individual Workspace subscription plans in Europe. The software suite aims to help sole proprietors improve the technology capabilities of the enterprise. This release comes more than a year after the service was launched in other markets.

Workspace is Google’s suite of productivity software, consisting of Gmail, Meet, Drive, Docs, Tasks, Forms, and other major applications. While many of these apps are available individually for free, Google monetizes the product by charging companies a fee to access additional features and integrations.

John Shriver-Blake, Group Product Manager for Google Workspace, made the announcement in a blog post. “We launched Google Individual Workspace over a year ago to help sole proprietors reach new customers and bring their big ideas to life,” he wrote. “Since then, customers in the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Japan and Australia have all used it to grow, operate and protect their businesses.”

He later added: “Now we are launching Google Workspace Individual in Europe. This means customers in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, the UK and Switzerland can take advantage of new and future capabilities designed to help sole proprietors focus on what they love and spend less time on tasks like scheduling appointments and shipping. e-mail. ”

Focus on sole proprietorship

With Workspace Individual, companies pay a monthly fee to access premium video calling tools such as recording, noise reduction, and older group calls. They can also stream directly from Google Meet to YouTube and use “multi-send” for email newsletters and other marketing campaigns. Google announced recently also features several new features, including e-signatures built directly into Google Docs.

“With this Google Workspace Individual extension, independent entrepreneurs in Europe can run, grow, and protect their businesses with apps they already know,” continued Shriver-Blake.

“This means more time serving customers and less time scheduling, emailing and updating calendars. In the coming months, we will continue to bring the Individual Workspace to a growing list of countries.”
