Inactive darts player Corey Cadby had to surrender his tour card from the PDC

Corey Cadby had to surrender his tour card from the PDC. The 28-year-old Australian won a tour card at Q-School 2023, which will allow him to participate in professional tournaments. He didn’t appear anywhere! The PDC was concerned by the situation and decided to introduce new rules, which resulted in Cadby having to surrender his tour card.

King Cadby, known as a thug, has a criminal record in Australia. This makes it quite difficult to get a (work) visa in the UK, which makes hurling tournaments a little more difficult. Even in some districts in Australia, Cadby was not accepted, meaning he couldn’t play many tournaments in his home country.

Missed trials
In 2019, he appeared in the news in Australia as he was charged several traffic fines and missed court dates. So the disruption to valid visas isn’t from last year: he’s been aware of this problem for years. It was a waste of his talent, as he reached the final of the 2018 UK Open.

Party for amateurs
One man’s death is another man’s bread is a very appropriate expression here. Due to the uproar surrounding Cadby, PDC is giving away not thirty, but 31 tour tickets this year. So we get additional darts players on the professional circuit.
