British diver Tom Daley was the center of attention during these Olympics and not just because of his incredible performance! He previously won team gold and bronze on the individual platform on Saturday morning, but he also stood out for his creative talents. He is often seen knitting in the stands during games. Now the ‘masterpiece’ is ready.
Daley, 27, shared a photo of his masterpiece on his Instagram account. The British Olympian created a white wool cardigan dedicated to ‘Team England’. He decorated it with flags, symbols of the Olympics and Tokyo.
Daley started his new hobby during the coronavirus pandemic. In her interview, she admitted that she mastered knitting by following online tutorials. During lockdown he had a lot of time to perfect his skills.

Daley doesn’t knit all the time: only during the preliminary rounds of competitions, when there are very long breaks between dives, as a way to distract her ‘busy mind’. “It relaxes me a lot.” Due to her hobby of knitting and winning medals, the number of her Instagram followers increased from 70,000 to 1.1 (!) Million.
Daley also won bronze at the 2012 Olympics in London. In 2008 he made his debut – at the age of 14 – at the Olympics in Beijing. His Olympic medal harvest consisted of 1 gold and three bronze medals.
