Dutch buying platform for digital outdoor advertising (DooH) Sage+Archer joins Vistar Media, the international platform for outdoor programming technology. As part of Vistar Media, Sage+Archer aims to accelerate its expansion into other European markets.

The parties just announced this in a press release. Financial details were not disclosed.

Sage+Archer is a technology spin-off from MobPro, founded by Diederick Ubels (photo), Edwin Metselaar and Tim Marketstein. The company offers marketers a self-service demand-side (DSP) platform. Through Media Vistar customers get access to data-driven DooH campaign resources across Europe: Belgium, Netherlands, France, Germany, UK, Spain and Italy. Network partners are parties such as JCDecaux, Clear Channel and Posterscope.

With the acquisition, American buyers will gain a local foothold to strengthen their European activities. It has DSP and SSP technology in house. Last year Vistar Media was used for more than twenty thousand campaigns of 1,462 brands.

Sage+Archer has 26 employees spread across three offices in Amsterdam, Hamburg and London. Owners and employees will continue to operate as independent divisions within the Vistar Media organization.
