CALENDAR: This is when all PDC Challenge Tour tournaments will be played

The PDC Challenge Tour will consist of 24 tournaments in 2022. Last year there were separate tours for British and European players due to the coronavirus pandemic, but this year the two circuits have been merged again.

24 tournaments will be played over five weekends. Two of the five weekends will be played in Niedernhausen, Germany, and the other three in England.

During the first weekend of January 21-23, five tournaments are scheduled. The Five Challenge Tour tournaments will also be held in April (1-3), July (15-17), and September (16-18). Four tournaments will be played over the weekend.

In each Challenge Tour tournament there is a prize pool of £10,000 to share. A ranking is created with prize money. At the end of the season, numbers one and two will receive a World Darts Championship invite, plus Tour Cards for 2023 and 2024.

In addition, there are other rewards for players who do well. The top of the standings will have the opportunity to compete as a substitute in the Players Championship tournament of the PDC Pro Tour. If the Tour Cardholder fails to register or cancels registration, the highest ranked player in the Challenge Tour Order of Merit may be added.
