Next up on this whistle stop tour, Cahoots NI will present their adaption of Chris Haughton’s SHH! We Have a Plan at the 39th Annual IPAY (International Performing Arts for Youth) Showcase in Madison, Wisconsin on Friday, 20 January 2017.
IPAY Showcase is an event where outstanding international artists can perform, exhibit, and develop their work for an audience of presenters who book shows specifically for young people and their families. SHH! We have a Plan, created and directed by Paul Bosco Mc Eneaney with music by Garth McConaghie, is based on the hugely popular Chris Haughton book of the same title, published by Walker Books.
Cahoots NI’s Artistic Director, Paul Bosco Mc Eneaney, says, “We are thrilled to embark on this adventure, bringing two wonderfully unique productions to young audiences and their families across America. LIGHTS! CAMERA! MATH! is an engaging and highly entertaining show that puts the magic into maths in a mind-boggling and fantastically fun way. Children will learn magic tricks to mystify mum and dad and muddle the maths teacher….it will most definitely spark an interest in maths to last a lifetime. Our adaption of Shh! We Have a Plan has great international appeal as it is non-verbal, meaning it can be enjoyed by families right across the globe. It is a privilege to be showcasing alongside an outstanding selection of international theatre at IPAY this year. ”
Gilly Campbell, Arts Development Officer for Drama and Dance, Arts Council of Northern Ireland, commented:

The extraordinary quality and range of work produced by our artists here goes beyond what might be expected of such a small region. Cahoots NI is an outstanding arts organisation whose work merits international exposure and we are delighted to support this impressive theatre company as they tour two highly entertaining productions around the US, putting Northern Ireland on the world map for all the right reasons.”
