Sippy of Culture – A Different Class of Beer Festival
Sippy Fest returns to the Guildhall Derry~Londonderry on 01 & 02 December 2017. Starting life around a kitchen table in 2013, this year will see over 50 beers and a bespoke cocktail menu return to the historic Guildhall, now with headline sponsor Different Class Menswear.
Featuring a selection of brewers from across the island of Ireland, with complimentary food and an excellent line-up of local music, it promises to be the largest celebration of crafted food and drink in the North West, and an excellent way to kick off the Christmas season.
Connor Doherty from Sippy Fest said; “We’re delighted to be coming back to the magical Guildhall for the third Sippy Fest. It’s a special time of year, and we’re delighted to be back in what promises to be a special weekend to kick off the Christmas period with some of the best local beers we can find. We’re curating a selection of over 50 beers, with returning favourites and some new brands and sensations, as well as some surprises, courtesy of our main sponsors, Different Class Menswear.
With the brew scene in Derry ever expanding, Sippy Fest will feature local heroes such as Walled City Brewery, Northbound Brewery and Dopey Dick Brewing Company, as well as a range from across Ireland highlighting the best in local produce, as well as featuring music from the likes of Reevah and more.
Also on the day- you’ll be able to hear from the North West’s first brew school- the Walled City Brewery’s Homebrew Academy- where you’ll be able to learn how to join in the craft beer revolution.
Tickets for Sippy Fest are available online from £5 per session or pay on the door. Check out Sippyfest on facebook and twitter for more information.
